My Weight Loss Story

What is Stopping You From Changing Your Body?

I asked myself this question about 2 years ago. After being pregnant for 2 years in a row, I looked in the mirror one day and I could not recognize myself. I was wondering just who was that person looking back at me?

I then realized, it was me. I was completely devastated with what I saw. Instead of making a choice to continue with what I was doing, I decided to do something about it. The question I asked myself, "What is stopping you from changing your body?"

The answer was quite clear. ME! At that moment I made the decision to change my body. I did it by changing my lifestyle. I changed how I ate, I exercised, and made MYSELF A PRIORITY! I realized that was not a selfish act, it was the best thing for me because I want to be around when my children have children.

I have lost 20 LBS and 23 INCHES! Let me tell you, the feeling you get when you put on clothes and they fall off is indescribable. I actually enjoy shopping again. I now try on size 6 - 8, wow!

I don't work out as much as I would like to, at least in a gym. I get my exercise by chasing my toddlers, they never stop. I did find some sensational, very adaptable products to assist my lifestyle. The Appetizer Diet® Shake and Cookie. They have made me healthier and happier. Healthier because they are made with the highest quality ingredients. They are top notch products with a low price, a lot of times it is tough to find high quality products without paying big bucks. Happier because I can eat COOKIES and still lose weight and my kids really, really like them!

It's not rocket science, it's making better choices for your lifestyle. If you have decided to make a change to your lifestyle go for it! I will be here for you and support you every step of the way. Life is what YOU make it, so MAKE YOURSELF A PRIORITY. You will be glad you did, I promise.

Fear, is it stopping you?

Here it is 2:39 am. I am working diligently on getting my inbox cleared, watching nothing of interested, OK you caught me soap opera's, and posting a blog. I have no idea where this will lead, but hey let's find out.

I have had some incredible moments in my life and I find myself reminiscing about some. I have struggled with some fears that have lingered in my mind and I have made the choice to take them on. I have no idea where that will lead me, but I have a feeling of peace knowing that this is the right thing to do.

I find myself pondering the question, why do we always let fear control our thoughts, actions and decisions in life? How do they have that strange power? How is it we cecum to the power they have? Well I have come to the realization that they only have as much "power" as we give them. So I choose to give them none what so ever. Give it a try, you just might surprise yourself, and open your mind to something more powerful than fear. You could get the success that has been waiting for you to claim.

Your Life Can Change In An Instant!

How is that one day life is great and the next it changes in an instant? I lost a friend today, Ken Huggins, granted I did not know him very well but through listening to his voice I know I had a connection with him. I know that it is not the amount of time that you know a person but it is the quality of time that you spend with a person. I did not have the chance to get to know Ken Huggins like I wanted to, but he impacted my life in more ways than one, I am sure of that.

People more often than not take for granted their everyday lives, I am no exception, but with Ken's guidance and spirit from beyond he will continue to help me. I have found an amazing group of people that I am proud to be apart of, Mentoring For Free. That is where I met Ken and up until this point I have not spoken up to let others hear my voice. I have been content to just listen and observe.

I have to get over my fears of rejection and believe that I am apart of this for a much bigger reason than I know at this time. I do know that it will revel itself in due time. Take today and think about this "It is later than you think," a good friend and mentor tells me that all the time, Art Jonak.

There is a saying that my mother tells me "Yesterday is History, Tomorrow is a Mystery and Today is a Gift." Please live each day as a gift because you never know when there will not be another tomorrow. Take the time to listen to your heart and love the ones that are around you.

I Appreciate You,

What is a mentor and how can I and MFF help you?

I remember as a child the one person that really made a difference in my life, my mother. My mother made sure that all of my needs, dreams, goals and desires were nurtured. She made sure that I knew I was special. To this day my mother still does that. Mom I love you very much and thank you for all of your support for my entire life.

That leads to my question. What is a mentor? A mentor according to Wikipedia is:
1. A wise and trusted counselor or teacher.
2. An influential senior sponsor or supporter.
-Verb (used without object)
3. To act as a mentor: She spent years mentoring to junior employees.
-Verb (used with object)
4. To act as a mentor to: The brash young executive did not wish to be mentored by anyone.

So we understand what it means according to Wikipedia, but my real question is this. Do you have a mentor or are you aimlessly wandering through life wondering why things keep happening to you the way they do? I am fortunate in the fact that I have always had some sort of support and a mentor to look up to. In my journey through life things have not always been, well lets say, easy. I have come full circle with most of my demons. I am still working out the kinks but that is what makes life so great.

What I have done all 0f my life, is take all of my failures, disappointments, and mistakes that I have made thus far and I learned from them. Now please do not misunderstand me I am by no means perfect, and believe you me, I have made some whoppers! But I found a new friend and mentor along the way, by the name of Michael Dlouhy. He wrote an amazing book entitled, Success in 10 Steps. I would have never met him if it was not for my other great friend and mentor Rob Kenyon. He has believed in and helped me every step of the way on my new path that I am on. They remind me every day that I am perfect just the way I am.

Why am I sharing this with you? You are probably thinking "Who the heck is Bridget Lee, anyway?" But here is why. These gentlemen along with many other brilliant people that I have met, have inspired me to do for others exactly what they do for me. MENTOR. I am extending to you an olive branch. I would very much like to help you with your success in life. I would like to be that friend and mentor when you need one. I will be your personal cheerleader and when you run into "that person" that says you're crazy, call or email me and I will reassure you that you are not! Some people JUST DON'T GET IT. When you associate yourself with positive people, you have more energy.

One last thing, I am with an organization called Mentoring For Free (MFF) and if you need help with your MLM business or you are looking to start one, please keep me, Bridget Lee, in mind. I want to help you succeed, because I want to share all of the information, knowledge, and resources that I have with you, so that you can reach your dreams and goals.

Take care,
Bridget Lee
